Service Description

FixMyRecord provides a reputation preview and a personal diagnosis service. The default preview uses passive Google/search discovery and clearly labeled court-record, mugshot, and data-broker coverage to show what's findable under your name and help separate you from a same-name stranger. Production scans do not send your identity to LLM providers. We cannot seal court records, promise mugshot removal, or remove news articles — only a court can seal a record, and source publishers control their pages. When a route is genuinely eligible and you authorize it, the diagnosis includes one reviewed action such as a data-broker opt-out or eligible Google personal-info removal request.

LLM Samples

Optional LLM visibility sampling is currently unavailable in production. No customer setting or consent checkbox enables it. If released later after its privacy and operability gates are verified, it will still require a separate affirmative request and consent confirmation, carry zero score, and never establish identity, harm, a source, or a removal target by itself.

Not a Background Check

FixMyRecord is not a background check service. Reports generated by FixMyRecord should not be used for employment, housing, credit, insurance, or any other decisions about individuals. FixMyRecord is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

Accuracy Disclaimer

Results are based on publicly available information and may not be complete or accurate. Index absence is not proof that a source has no listing, and an index recurrence is not proof that a verified removal failed. We do not guarantee the removal of any content from third-party websites, search engines, or AI platforms. Results reflect the evidence available at the time of the scan and may change.

Refund Policy

The reputation preview is free. The $50 personal diagnosis fee covers a person reviewing your case, identity resolution, and — when a route is genuinely eligible — one reviewed action such as a data-broker opt-out or eligible Google personal-info request. We document submission status and re-check when the route supports it. It does not guarantee that any third-party site, search engine, or AI platform will remove or change content, and we do not claim removal without before/after source verification. You may request a full refund within 7 days if we cannot verify your identity or there is nothing eligible to act on.

User Responsibilities

By using FixMyRecord, you represent that:

• You are scanning your own name or have authorization to scan the name provided.
• You will not use the report for employment screening, tenant screening, or any purpose governed by the FCRA.
• You will not misuse the service to harass, stalk, or harm any individual.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resilient Capital LLC and FixMyRecord shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific report in question.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of law principles.
